Umbrella Folk
lyrics by Shaun Mangan

Droplets to my sleeve, fall from every leave
I ramble through the rain, as I walk to my domain.
Squinting though I stare, splashing off the glare.
Unseeing I do seek, as I look I'm feeling weak.

As I wake, revealing today, I look to the ceiling and say...
"What's that drizzle of that fizzles from above?"
Cascading to the ground, I feel it drizzle down.

I pocketed my hand, permeated as I stand,
As I venture to yield a dryer drizzle shield.
Clouds covering my moon, the drizzle dying soon.
As I stand saturated, ill-at-ease, subjugated.

Cascading to the ground, I feel it drizzle down.

Never's been a day that seems to last forever.
Forever just a day that dreams of ending never.
